Napoleón Bonaparte was born in 1769, in Ajaccio, was as noble as any other. He lived with his parents and 7 brothers. As a student, Napoleon was always alone, he wanted to be alone to think and meditate about how much he hated French people. He wasn't a good student, but he really cared about maths and reading, especially historical classical books, like “Universal History” and “Alejandro’s expedition”.

First Napoleon's job

At the age of 10, his father, his brother Jose and Napoleon travelled to France to study in France's military school, where he got really good marks, especially in maths and geography.

After his graduation in 1784 he was admitted to the École Royale Militaire in Paris. After his graduation he was commissioned as second lieutenant of artillery at the age of 16.

When some counter-revolutionaries attacked the Convencion, he and a small army stopped the fight, which gave him power and fame. A few weeks later he married Josefina de Beauharnais.

The exile

After France’s revolution, he became commander second of the national guard of volunteers of Corcega. After a conflict with the nationalist leader Pasquale Paoli, he and his family had to run away to France again some time.

After his return to France, he quickly became artillery commander of the French forces. Bonaparte, in Tolón, used everything he knew to atack anglo spain. His ability to work and his coldness made him a hero, so he became brigadier general.

After that, he became the commander of the French Army in Italy, defeated Austria, Rome, Malta, Syria, got exiled to Egypt, and helped to find the Rosetta Stone.

The end

When he went back to Austria’s Italy, he had to sign an agreement with Austria, and after still fighting with Great britain he was trapped in Santa Elena, until he died the 5 of july in 1821. His last words were “France…, the army…, Josefina…)
