Tệ nạn xã hội

• Là những hiện tượng có tính tiêu cực, biểu hiện thông qua các hành vi sai lệch chuẩn mực xã hội, vi phạm đạo đức, pháp luật hiện hành, phá vỡ thuần mỹ phong tục, lối sống lành mạnh, tiến bộ trong xã hội, có thể gây những hậu quả nghiệm trọng cho cá nhân, gia đình và xã hội.

Hà Nội là địa bàn có vị trí huyết mạch về giao thông đường bộ, đường không, đường thủy, tiếp giáp với nhiều tỉnh, dân cư đông đúc nên đây là địa bàn tiềm ẩn nhiều nguy cơ phát sinh các tệ nạn xã hội, nhất là tệ nạn ma tuý, mại dâm.

Hiện nay, tệ nạn mại dâm vẫn diễn biến phức tạp, khó lường khi toàn thành phố có hơn 5.000 cơ sở kinh doanh dịch vụ có điều kiện về an ninh, trật tự, dễ phát sinh tệ nạn xã hội, có nguy cơ hoạt động mại dâm; trong đó có gần 2.000 cơ sở kinh doanh karaoke, cơ sở xoa bóp. Về tệ nạn ma túy, số người nghiện ma túy vẫn tăng hằng năm, hiện cả nước đang quản lý hồ sơ của hơn 235.000 người nghiện ma túy.

Những tệ nạn xã hội vẫn còn không ít trong xã hội hiện nay ở rất nhiều độ tuổi khác nhau và chủ yếu chính là các thanh niên ở độ tuổi mới lớn chưa làm chủ được bản thân và chưa suy nghĩ đến hậu quả.
