In 1955 Rosa Parks got arrested for not giving her seat up for a white man. In Montgomery till 1956 there was a bus boycott to get the buses desegregated. After it happened the whole supreme court decided that we needed to deseregate the buses

In March of 1965 25,000 people marched over African Americans rights to vote, there were 3 sepreate marches.
