This is the famous Edmund Pettus Bridge the people of the Selma Marches Crossed to make it to Montgomery, to achieve there victory for protesting the Voting Rights.
These are the soldiers that tried to fight and prevent the people from making it through the Selma Marches. They didn't succeed, Thank goodness for that.
These are the brave people that Marched in the Selma Marches, to fight for Voting Rights for Blacks. If it wasn't for these people, there may still be stuff like Poll Taxes and Literacy Tests around.

This is when the 4 students of the University went to protest at Woolworth. This is them sitting at a counter, there food about to be served to them. Little did they know they would get in big trouble for sitting in this part of the restaurant.
These are the people that organized the Greensboro Sit-Ins, Ezell Blair, Franklin McCain, Joseph McNeil, and David Richmond. They were students at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro.
Woolworth is the Restaurant that the brave people of the Greensboro Sit-Ins went to, to peacefully protest against segragation rights.

These are the people who rode the buses during the Bus Boycott. They are the people that inspired other blacks to ride the buses and stop segragation once and for all. These are the Heroes of the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
This is Rosa Parks. Rosa Parks was the women who sat in the white part of the bus and refused to move for a White Man. She ended up getting arrested but did spark the Bus Boycott which was pretty awesome.
This is one of the many buses used during the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the main way of transportation for blacks back then. The buses used to segragate people, putting the whites at the front and the blacks at the back.

These slides will teach us about the Civil rights movement and what the people did to stop racial segragation.
From the Selma Marches to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, all of these are examples of the Civil Rights Movement. all of these are examples of People making a change to the US, a change to the future, A change for Blacks and African Americans in the South.
The Civil Rights Movement was a nationwide movement for equal rights for African Americans and Blacks and for an end to Racial Segragation and exclusion.
