fOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO LEARN ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS IN A BEE HIVE

GETTING STARTED

  1. Click the button to join our class Minecraft world:
(Note: If you do not have Minecraft Education on your computer, you will need to download it from the Windows store.) 2. Open the Classkick by clicking the button:

THE FARM

Step 1: Find Poppy and right click to talk to her.

  • Click build demo farm and watch what happens!
  • Read the signs about the bee farm before you go.

TIP: Press 'H' to see Minecraft controls.

Step 2: Go back to the entrance and talk to Bee Girl.

  • Click 'Go to Hive'

THE SCIENTIST

Step 1: First you will need to find the chest next to the Scientist.

  • Collect the note block, camera, and bee costume items from the chest.
  • Open your inventory and equip the bee costume so you blend in at the hive! Click the chest to learn how to do this.

Step 2: Talk to the scientist.

  • Click 'Go to Hive'
You will be transported to the outside of the Beehive.

Step 3: Talk to Bee Girl.

  • Click 'Go inside'

THE QUEEN

Step 1: Find the Bee Queen.

  • Look for the bee reproduction sign next to the queen.
  • Answer the question.

THE HIVE

You will need to travel around The Hive to fill out your classkick and learn about the functions of the beehive. You should pick 2 topics to complete in the classkick and answer the questions on page 2 when you finish exploring.

Return home and use honeycombs 7-10 to help you with the classkick.

How to Equip Bee Costume

  • Press E to open inventory.
  • Select the icon that looks like a green book with a box.
  • Find the bee costume parts and drag them into the hat, shirt, pants, and shoes slots.
  • Be sure to drag the book and quill and camera into the main inventory slots below so you can use them.
