History Of Japan
History of Japan
Japan is a country located in eastern Asia, better known as the Land of the Rising Sun. A nation in principle feudal, where the maximum representation of power was the emperor, who had a spiritual function. Then followed the shoguns, traditionally Buddhists who could be understood as the kings in the different regions that made up Japan. The military leaders were called Daimyo, the samurai were warriors, the ronin were soldiers and then the peasants followed. Ninjas are of Japanese origin and were considered the mercenaries of the towns. At the beginning their religion was Shintoism, based on the worship of kami or nature spirits. The government structure was military, especially in the times of Tokugawa Leyasu, who could be understood in Latin American culture as a leader. Japan has always ensured the protection of its culture, which is why they focused on expelling Catholicism from their lands. They had centralized trade and had relations with countries such as China, the Netherlands and Korea.

Flag of Japan
