57 year old elderly adult status post PCI following three days of chest pain at home. The patient recieved two drug eluding stents and is feeling much better now. They are ready to be discharged and have questions about the instructions they were given. What do you tell them?

Take it easy for a few days. Don't lift more than a few pounds with the wrist they accessed. Take up to three doses of your nitro five minutes apart for chest pain. If the chest pain doesn't get better before your third dose call 911. Don't take your nitro with erectile dysfuntion meds.

Make sure you eat a low fat diet and monitor your blood pressure. If you forget a dose of your medication take two the next time you remember. If you experience stable angina at home you don't need to call your provider unless it persists for twenty-four hours

After your stents there is nothing to worry about! Eat a low fat diet and take it easy for a few days. You shouldn't need to worry about any new medications.
