Act 2: Meet With Pericles
- Events: With the accompany of Herodotus, you visit Athen to find Pericles who can help you out. At last, you find your father, but he's not the one who abandoned you. Before departure, he gives you clues about the true murderer who ruined your family, the Cult of Cosmos.
- Secondary Characters: Herodotus, Pericles, Socrates。
- Settings: The temple of Parthenon，Acropolis
Act 3: Seeking the secrets
- Events: In order to find more clues of the Cult of Cosmos, you choose to fight for Spartans. During this, you have found your mother, who tells you that the murder captured your sister.
- Secondary Characters: Brasidas, Hippocrates, Spartans.
- Settings: Thermopylae, Lakedaímōn
Act 4: Reunite with Family
- Events: Following the clues from your mother, you have come to Makedonia. After vanquishing all the memebers of the Cult of Cosmos, you find your sister to be the last member. With the help of your parents, you have convinced your sister to give up the hatred.
- Secondary Characters: Cleon, Nicias, Lysander, the Cult of Cosmos
- Settings: Thessaloníki, Therma city
Act 1: A Spartan Mecenary
- Events: On the Island of Cephalonia, you, a mecenary, received a letter about your father, who abandoned you a long time ago. You want to revenge for his betrayal, so you start the trip of vengence.
- Secondary Characters: Herodotus, villagers and the Cult of Cosmos.
- Settings: The villages of Cephalonia
Features of Open-World
As an open-world video game, the story plots are narrated in a very vivid way because you are the person who truely experience the main character's story, you are the narrator and the narrator is you. The character's eyes are your eyes, your actions are the character's actions. What's even better, you can enjoy the story while having fun in playing video game. The most important features of Video Game based storytelling is "Immersive".
A Tour of Discovery
Though Assasin's Creed Odyssy is a video game, it is made to educate the players and spread the Greek Culture, showing the detailed cultural background behind the story plots. Players can learn the history of Peloponnesian War, or have a closer look at the Parthenon, you can even talk with historical characters like Socrates. Thanks to the digital scaning and recreating technology, all the ancient ruins are able to show their original forms in the game.
