  • Measurable - ‘to make more profit’ isn’t a well-defined enough goal - use figures and points of reference that you can visualise
  • Achievable - while it’s a good idea to aim high, your objectives should never be impossible to achieve.
  • Relevant - set goals that are related to what you actually want to achieve.
  • Timely - give your goals a deadline. Otherwise, it is hard to track progress or set realistic goals in the future.
