Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960.He witnessed his parents' conflictive relationship. Thus, upon seeing his fascination with dead animals, his father tried to support him and got him interested in taxidermy.

After his parents' divorce, Jeffrey Dahmer developed an increasingly serious drinking problem. Under these circumstances he commits his first murder, fatally attacking Steven Hicks, a young man whom he had picked up from the highway on June 18, 1978.

He was arrested on July 22, 1991, after Tracy Edwards, 32, managed to escape and alert the authorities. Once in his apartment, agents discovered human remains, as well as photos of dismembered bodies.

In 1987, Jeffrey Dahmer murdered three men in his grandmother's house (Richard Guerrero, Anthony Sears and James Doxtator). He had also previously killed Steven Toumi. Furthermore, when his grandmother noticed the unpleasant smell in the basement, she discovered her grandson's small satanic altar.

Dahmer was beaten to death by Christopher Scarver, another of the prison's inmates, on November 28, 1994. It happened in the showers of the prison gym. Dahmer was found alive, but an hour after arriving at the hospital he was pronounced dead.

The Milwaukee Butcher claimed 17 young men's lives over 13 years.
