Positivism plays an important concept in society and sociology. Now we understand importance of positivism at workplace. Let see an example: The survey how the employers handles the difficult situation? Workers with positive attitude handles any difficult problem easily because they stay calm, they make effective decisions with the help of their six senses and gut feelings. Negative attitude of workers can make negative impact in office that create problem more complex.
Positivism at Workplace
Interpretivism approach focuses on workers utilize flexibly and multiple methods, the most suitable way of working in a small sample in depth over time. Interpretivist theorists are more concerned with the study of institution from inner side as they think that a perfect understanding of how the company functions can only be achieved from prespective of the employers. Example: Interpretivism in sociology is to conduct interviews with workers to find out their reasons for misbehaving sometimes. These is interpretivist because it seeks to find out personal motivations of the workers.
Role of Interpretism at workplace
Critical theories have the power to perform large-scale social change for both large and small companies. It seek positive social change rather than negative one in any office. Critical theories use to reveal a hunge range of possible ideological patterns that make and foster dominant world views, and to challenge and alter those ideologies that hold down others.It helps to examine the messages that so few compaines are constructing and their impacts on how we understand the worldaround us as shaped through these messages. However, a potential weakness of critical theories is their dependence on social values.
