When Hamlet's father, the king of Denmark dies, apparently poisoned by a snake, the crown is taken by Claudius after he marries the now widow Gertrude One night the Ghost of the dead king appears to Hamlet and reveals that in reality he was murdered by his own brother and asks Hamlet to avenge him Hamlet, full of hatred started to behave strangely, getting that attention of his uncle who asked Polonius to observe the young prince and summons Guildenstern and Rosencrantz for the same reason. At the same time a group of actors arrives to the castle and Hamlet asks them to stage a play that included a scene that miniced his father murder, so he could get Claudius' reaction.
Claudius is now aware of the threat that is Hamlet so he decides to send him to England to get him killed, but Hamlet manages to return to Denmark and send Guildenstern and Rosencrantz instead of him. In the meantime Ophelia, who lost her mind due to her love for Hamlet, had
killed herself; now Laertes is planning to avenge both his sister and his father (who was stabbed to death by Hamlet after he mistook him for his uncle) by killing the prince. Claudius conspires with Laertes to kill Hamlet. so They poison both Laertes' sword and a goblet of wine, to make sure he didn't have any chances against them. the plans goes horribly when Gertrude unwittingly drinks the wine; then both Laertes and Hamlet are wounded by the poisoned blade, and they both die, but not before Hamlet stabs Claudius, murdering him.
