Most Important Contribution
The airplane is by far the most important contribution of the industrialization era. At the time, the airplane seemed to be useless other than for pleasure. Besides, it could only fly around 35 miles per hour. But, as all inventions do, the airplane developed. Nowdays, the airplane is used as a stunt vehicle, a transportation vehicle, and a war machine. Many inventions are still used today, but not as vast as the airplane. There are stunt shows all across the world in fighter jets and regular stunt planes. Also, about 100,000 planes fly carrying people and cargo with safety and efficiency. Lastly, there are many different ways airplanes are used as defensive or offensive vehicles in a war setting, proving capable as one of the most diverse inventions ever made. Without airplanes our world would move much slower and much more impractical.
