What about our daily life?

Well...

We use the streaming algorithms in our daily life because they give video content to users. As the entertainment industry continues to evolve, video streaming algorithms will continue to evolve as well, enabling us to enjoy our favorite movies, shows, and music.

We basically use the streaming algorithms with some apps in networking such as monitoring network links, counting the number of distinct flows. They also have apps in databases, such as estimating the size of a join.
