In this element of learning it provides a scenario that serves as the foundation of the project. It helps the students connect to their learnign and engages their interest and curiosity.

TASK

in this element of learing is to provide the student with a specific and direct assignment that students need to complete an assignment or project. Designed to provide a clear focus and direction for students to achieve the desired outcome

DIRECTION

THE ELEMENT OF DIRECTION ARE BASICALLY THE INSTRUCTIONS AND GUIDELINES GIVEN TO THE STUDENTST ON HOW TO APPROACH A GIVEN TASK. iT PROVIDES THEM WITH CLEAR EXPECTATIONS AND GUIDELINES TO BE SURE THEY KNOW WAHT IS EXPECTED OF THEIR WORK

STUDENT CHOICES

THIS ELEMENT OF LEARNING GIVES THE STUDENT POWER OVER THEIR LEARNING EXPERIENCE. IT ALLOWS THEM TO SHAPE THEIR PROJECTS WITH THEIR OWN UNIQUE IDEAS, INTERESTS, AND ALLOWS THEM TO CHOOSE THINGS IN THE PROJECT THAT ALIGN WITH THEIR INDIVIDUAL GOALS.

STUDENT INQUIRY

IN THIS ELEMENT IT ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO EMBRACE CURIOUSITY AND ASK QUESTIONS SO THAT THEY CAN EXPLORE THEIR OWN INTERESTS AND CURIOSITIES WITHIN THE PROJECT. IT ALSO GIVES AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENVOKE CRITICAL THINKING IN THE PROJECT TO SHAPE THE STUDENTS LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK

iN THIS ELEMENT THE STUDENT IS ENCOURAGED TO COLLABORATE AND WORK TOGETHER WITH THEIR PEERS. IT ALLOWS THE STUDENTS TO WORK ON SOCIAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, SEEING THINGS FROM OTHERS PERSPECTIVES, AND HOW TO EFFECTIVELY WORK WITH OTHERS TO REACH A COMMON GOAL.

THIS ELEMENT REFERS TO THE ACTIVE ROLE OF THE TEACHER GUDING AND SUPPORTING THE STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT. THIS IS MOSTLY THROUGH FEEDBACK IN ORDER TO FACILITATE MAXIMUM EFFORT AND GROWTH FOR THE STUDENTS.

IN THIS ELEMENT IT IS FOR THE STUDENT TO ANALYZE AND PROCESS THEIR LEARNING EXPERIENCE. IT ENCOURAGES THEM TO CRITICALLY THINK AND ASSESS THEIR OWN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT

PUBLIC PRESENTATION

IN THIS ELEMENT THE STUDENTS GET TO DISPLAY AND SHOWCASE THEIR WORK TO OTHER PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM. IT CAN BE PRESENTED TO OTHER PEERS TEACHERS OR EVEN PARENTS. IT IS A TOOL USED TO PROMOTE COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE.
