The 'War Poets'

During the WWI and the WWII there was one main category of poets. They were called “War Poets”, a group of soldiers who fought and in the same time wrote about the initial entusiasm of going to fight for the country and after about the suffering, the alienation and the brutality of the war. Owen was one of the main poets of this group: his story meets Sassoon's, another war poet.
