12 ANGRY MEN is a film directed by sidney lumet based on the book by reginald rose, released October 14, 1957. The plot : The film deals with a murder, a son is accused of killing his father. 12 jurors must therefore meet and vote guilty or not, but out of 12 jurors only 11 vote guilty and one juror admits to having a doubt and begins to explain why.

The extract

the extract shows the first evidence that will changes minds. This evidence is the knife that the little boy must have used to kill his father. This knife is very specific and very little known. However, juror 8 took the same knife out of his coat and proved that it's not that rare and that it can be bought almost everywhere and it's possible that someone is bought the same one and killed the father with it.

Juror 3 he retorts to each sentence of juror 8 since for him it's all stupid, he is still as angry as in the whole film

Juror 4 is the one who recalls the knife evidence saying he has never seen a knife like this. He is very stoic towards the doubts of juror 8

Juror 8 is the protagonist of the film, he's the one who have a doubt of the boy's guilt. He proved to the others that it's not because the knife is specific that someone haven't buy the same to kill the father with it. In this scene he is very brave to get the knife out of his pocket because he brake the law.
