LEARNING OBJECTIVES
In this unit, you will:
- Learn about life changing events or people, in relation with historical events, the environment and inventions and means of transport.
- Learn how to speak about life events with the Present Perfect, past situations with the Past Simple and past situations that happened before other situations with the Past Perfect.
- Use ICT tools to investigate and create digital documents.
- Work in couples to speak about transport.
- Write a narrative.

Create 5 "Kahoot sentences" to check the understanding of the difference between Past Perfect and Past Simple. 4. Look at the models provided by the teacher. 5. Do some practice on the links provided. 6. Check the rubric.

INDIVIDUALLY 1. Write a narrative about something that happened to you while you were travelling. It can be real or imaginary. 2. Look at the tips and follow the instructions, prompt questions and guidelines. 3. Check the rubric.
INDIVIDUALLY: 1. Enter the links to learn about historical events that changed history. 2. Choose 3 of these events and look for information about them. 3. Write a summary (DON'T CUT AND PASTE) of the information that you found (include the links where you found the information). Include your personal opinion about the content with a justification. 4. Make a classification of the most relevant vocabulary related to ACHIEVEMENTS or EVENTS THAT CHANGED HISTORY (with a translation into Spanish) 5. Check the rubric.
IN GROUPS OF 3 PEOPLE: 1. Think of a nomination for each of the following categories: “Women and men’s equality”. “Environmental defence”. It could refer to people or events. 2. Each group must give an oral presentation defending their nominations for both categories. 3. Your presentation can’t be longer than 3-4 minutes 4. Use some of the vocabulary of the unit (environment, historical events, transport...) as well as some of the grammar structures (present perfect, past perfect, past simple...) 5.
