  • Significant atelectasis (collapse)
  • Lobectomy, pneumonectomy
  • Lung fibrosis

Means there is more air/pressure on one side

Causes of Expansion
  • Tension Pneumothorax
  • Large Pleural Effusion
  • Mediastinal mass
