Lesson 4.2
Brayan Eduardo Ossa Rengifo Lina Marcela Torres Garzón
A2 STUDENTS UD
SOCIOCULTURAL OBJECTIVE
Students will be able to describe, design and discuss about their environments and hometowns explaining their different backgrounds.
LESSON 4.2 Reordering
EXERCISE 1AMODIFYING (Expanding)
EXCERCISE 1A Modifying (Restructuring)
CHECK THE EXAMPLE
Students must work in pairs.
Each student will write sentences on a piece of paper where they tell their partner how to organize those images on the second page. They must use prepositions of place.
Each pair will work on Jamboard and each student will take 2 pages.
Each student will refer to the partner's page where the disorganized images are. The other one will say the sentences so that the other student organizes the images correctly.
On the first page, each student will design and create the environment in which He/she lives (city, town, house). For this, it will be supported by superimposed images, lines, pages and other resources.
At the end, the original image will be compared with the image organized by the partner, to analyze if the instructions were clear and if all the clues were followed.
Next, each student will duplicate that first page, and on the second page they will disorganize the overlapping images.
CHECK THE EXAMPLE
EXCERCISE 11ADDING (Expanding)
The teacher will give students an access code (OSSA-JUCPG) to Perusall for the A2 English course, which he created.
Students will tell their partners what is their favorite place in their hometown and give a brief description of that place. They also have to provide reasons why they love that place.
Students must use articles and prepositions of place in their descriptions of the places they chose.
Students will share with their classmate their post and will have to give feedback on their classmates' activities.
Students will post on Perusall a VR (virtual reality) picture of the place they chose. They can use 360 Cities or Google Earth.
THANKS!
