What is Culture?

Culture is defined as the way of life of a group of people. It includes their traditions, customs, beliefs, and habits. The enslaved Africans brought their culture across the Atlantic along the Middle Passage. Elements from different African regions blended with each other and with the cultures of Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese enslavers.
