This video is an educative video by the Washington Post, released in 2018 about numbers and slavery in the USA. Slavery began* in 1619 in the USA and ended in 1865 with Abraham Lincoln. Approximatively 12 million Africans were stolen from their homes. "Only" 300 000 were sent in the U.S.A. Slaves were packed like sardines on boats to go to North and South America. Many died during the journey or decided to jump overboard. In the USA, slaves weren't allowed to vote, marry white people and learn how to read. Slaves tried to rebel 250 times in the USA, they were angry with their life conditions. The most famous rebellion was led by Nat Turner and killed 51 whites.
- Le titre de l'article doit être clair, court, accrocheur
- L'image = une illustration des propos
- Il doit toujours y avoir la source = le nom du journal !
- Il doit toujours y avoir l'auteur et la date (obviously)
