Animal and Plant Cell Similarities
Cells are made up of smaller structures called organelles. Organelles are common to most cells. The word organelle means “little organs”. Each organelle has its own function or job in the cell to keep the cell alive. Each organelle in the cell plays a key role in helping the cell to survive. These are some examples of organelles:
