Once upon a time, in a small and beautiful village lived a young baker named Paca . She had always dreamed of opening her own bakery. One day, when Paca was baking her famous apple pies, a mysterious customer entered her shop . The customer revealed a secret recipe that would change Paca's life forever. Then, she know, her bakery would soon become the talk of the town .

Is used to describe completed actions in the past. These actions describe a event that happened at a specific point in time. Is formed REGULAR VERBS: by using the base form of the verb with the addition of ("walked," "talked) IRREEGULAR VERBS: irregular verb forms (e.g., "ate," "went").

Is used to describe actions that was alredy in progress at an specific point in the past. It emphasizes the duration or interruption of an action in the past. Is formed by using the past of the verb "to be" (was/were) with the base form adding -ing (e.g., "was/were" + "eating," "playing").

Is used to indicate that one past action or event occurred before another past action or event. It describe a sequence in the past but emphasize in what action happend before. I is formed by using "had" followed by the past participle form of the verb (e.g., "had eaten," "had gone").

Past perfect continuous: While past perfect emphasizes the end of an action that happened before, the past perfect continuous shows an event or an action in the past that stills in progress FORM: Afirmative: subject+had been+ verb-ing+complement Negative: subject + hadn’t been + verb-ing +complement

The past perfect refers to a time earlier than before now. It is used to make it clear that one event or action happened before another in the past FORM: Afirmative: subject+had+past participle Negative: subject+hadn’t+past participle
