Evidence-Based Pathway
  • Service-Learning Project
A service-learning project, such as one through Boy/Girl Scouts, National Honor Society, a religious youth group, or other organization, must involve a minimum of ten hours and be supervised by an adult who can verify and sign off on the completion of the project. Refer to this application form and contact your school counselor to seek approval for a project: https://tinyurl.com/CCAServiceLearningApplication.
  • Internship
An internship is a structured career preparation work experience in which students are placed at a workplace for a semester to observe and participate in work within a given career field. Internships are a great way for high school students to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a real work environment. Students may identify their own host employer, or select from a number of pre-identified internship hosts. Refer to this page to learn more, schedule a career consultation, and/or apply to participate: https://www.myedio.com/community/news/149.
