Christian Hulsmeyer was a German inventor, physicist and entrepreneur. He is credited with the invention of radar, although his apparatus, called the "Telemobilscope", could not directly measure distance to a target.

It is historically correct that, on June 17 1935, radio-based detection and ranging was first demonstrated in Britain. Watson-Watt, Wilkins and Bowen are generally credited with initiating what would later be called radar in this nation.

1.WHO FIRST DISCOVERED RADAR AND WHEN?

HEINRICH HERTZ

Heinrich Hertz invented the radar. Radar is an object detection system that uses radio waves to determine the range, angle, ot velocity of objects. It can be used to detect aircraft, ships, spacecraft, guided missiles, etc.

RADAR

0ne type of radar, it is the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). From ocean waves on Earth to the surfaces of Venus and Saturn's moon, Titan, SAR has given us unique views of our solar system that just aren't possible with regular optic sensors. While experimenting with Hertz's reflector, he noticed that electriv waves that were emitted from a transmitter and reflected by a metal surface can be used to detect distant mettalic objects.

SOLAR SYSTEM

Since the launching of the first artificial satellite in 1957, probes explored the solar system, and instruments in space have discovered thousands of planets around other stars.

WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF SPACECRAFT?

Spacecraft is a machine designed to be put in space. They can be used for observing the Earth communication, navigation and space exploration.

SPUTNIK 1

On october 4 1957, the Soviet Union launched the Earth's first artificial satellite, Sputnik 1.

WHO DISCOVERED SPACECRAFT?

We human beings have been venturing into space since october 4 1957, when the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (U.S.S.R). This happened during the period of political hostility between the Soviet Union and the United States known at the Cold War.
