Oscard Wilde

Oscar Wilde was born in Dublin on 16 October 1854. He studied at Oxford University in England. He was an excellent student and won prizes for his poetry, people liked listening to him. In 1879 Oscard Wilde went to live in London and he began writing. In 1882 he went to the United States of America to talk to audiences in different cities about his writing. In 1884 he married Constance Lloyd and had two sons. He wrote a famous story "The Happy Prince" for his sons. Wilde publishes "The Canterville Chase". Oscard Wilde died in 1900.

INTRODUCTION

A rich american family decides to buy a haunted house in england.They certainly don't believe in ghosts until they meet Sir. Simon, the 300 years old ghost with a fraightening reputation, who takes his job very seriously.

INTRODUCTION

The Otis family arrived at Canterville Chase, the haunted house. They meet the owner Lord Canterville who tells them that the house is haunted, but Mr. Otis buys it anyway ignoring him. One night the ghost Sir Simon shows up all angry and annoyed by the Otis twins, but one day Virgina Otis knows the ghost and from there changes everything .....

Mr. Otis: Mr. Otis was a minister of the United States Government.

CHARACTERS

Mr. Otis: He was a minister of the United States Government. He wanted to live in an old house in England so he decided to buy Canterville Chase, but it's haunted. Mr. Otis is very brave and isn't scared of ghosts.

CHARACTERS
Virginia Otis: She was fifteen years old and she was lovely. She had blond hair and big blue eyes. She loved riding her pony in the country. A young english lord, Cecil, Duke of Cheshire, liked her very much.
CHARACTERS

Washington Otis: He was the oldest son of the family. His parents called him Washington, because the firts president of the United States was called Washington. He was tall and good-looking, and had blond hair. He liked dancing very much and liked living in Great Bretain.

CHARACTERS

The Otis twins:They were often called "The Stars of Stripes", like the name that people called the American flag. They were often naughty but evryone liked them.

CHARACTERS

Sir Simon:He has lived in Canterville Chase of 300 years. He has red eyes and he has long and grey hair and beard. There are chains on his hands and feet. He' s very touchy and he's made fun of by the twins.
