I chose a matrix table design. It makes it easier to compare and contrast what elements are the same and what is different. I purposefully tried to use similar wording so that connections could be made for comparison.
Numbered items could be easier compared to other theories. For example: In the principles column, the items labeled with the number 2 are the most comparable to other items in other theories. Shaping behavior, scaffolding, and modeling behavior have relative similarlity
How can I use this information?
Start with the end in mind! Figure out what environment you want for your students and what skills should they acquire at the end of the class. Know your audience! Know what your audience or students already know and what can be expected of them on a cognitive level

How to understand the matrix?
Follow the step by step:
- Locate the learning theory you are interested in
- Review the main characteristics of that learning theory in the next column
- Note what principles are associated with that theory in the next column
- See who is tied to that theory
- How to use that theory in an online setting
I chose Behaviorism, Constructivism and Social Learning theories because I personally identify with them the most in my teaching style.
