My PCTO experience

WHERE DID YOU GO?

I went to a micro nursery named "I CUCCIOLI" in Trescore Balneario. It was built in a house, and because of this it's called micro nursery. In all there were 15 children from 0 to 3 years old, and there were two teachers.

WHAT WERE YOUR TASKS?

I helped a lot the teachers since the first day, they let me play freely with the children and even left me alone with them. I played with the kids, i changed the diapers, i cleaned them, i helped them eat, i put them to sleep and i also talked to the mothers and gave them the information.

HOW THE DAY WAS STRUCTURED?

wHO DID YOU WORK WITH?

I worked with two teachers. They were very kind and spontaneus, they helped me a lot and teached me a lot of new things (for example i didn't know how to change a diapers)

WHAT DID YOU LEARN?

I learned so much things, both theorical and pratical things. They taught me how to relate to children and why they react in certain ways. I liked this experience a lot but i realised that it is not a job that i would do in a future.

It was really tiring both mentally and physically.
