The capitol of England and the hub of the gently bred marriage mart. Most every member of the gentry floods into the city in the fall when Parliament sits and flows out once they rise in the summer alongside the stench from the Thames.

Anscliffe Castle

The seat of power of the Duke of Ansdale, one of the oldest dukedoms in England. Occupied by the widowed Lord Ansdale, his three children, and his niece, who acts as a companion to the Lady Sadie, the duke's sole daughter. Rumour has it that Lady Sadie has no intention of returning to Cheshire post-Season, though her current lack of suitable admirers leaves questions as to how she plans to do that...

Hanbridge House

Country seat and primary residence of the Earl and Countess of Hanbridge. The location of the final house party before the end of the Season. Well known for its impeccably manicured gardens and hedge maze.

Cleaversham Estate

Country seat and primary residence of the current Marquess of Cleaversham and his sister Lady Margaret. It's location in the far north of England and its proximity to Scotland make it very isolated and it receives few visitors. Lord Cleaversham is lately betrothed to the Lady Elizabeth, the eldest daughter of the Earl of Orsham. Lady Margaret, meanwhile, despite her generous dowry and impeccable breeding, has yet to find a husband. Perhaps this Season will be the one that sees her emerge from her cocoon and become the butterfly she ought to be.

Havenbrook Manor

The country seat of the wildly wealthy Viscount and Viscountess Rowley, occupied by the Viscount, his wife, and their four children. Their eldest daughter and the Viscount's heir are out on this Season's marriage mart. While his eldest daughter has had little success since her debut three years ago, Lord Rowley recently inflated her dowry to a whopping £1,000–that's sure to get the gentlemen's attention.
