instruction 2 RESEARCH AND DESCRIBE

The origins of the Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) flows, that are present in Mexico. Current data, no older than three years from its publication.

The main destinations of exports from Mexico to the world. Current data, no older than three years from its publication.

instruction 3 analysis

Submit your information as an analysis (include what is requested in the previous points) in which you emphasize: a) The countries that are making investments in Mexico and b) To which places is Mexico exporting its products. Your analysis must be at least one page long.

FDI

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is a substantial, long-term investment made by a company or government into a foreign project or firm. La Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED) es aquella que tiene como propósito crear un vínculo duradero con fines económicos y empresariales de largo plazo, por parte de un inversionista extranjero en el país receptor.

FDI inflows

FDI inflows are the net flow of foreign investment into a country, representing the total value of investments made by non-resident investors to acquire a lasting interest and control in a domestic enterprise.

FDI outflows

FDI net outflows are the value of outward direct investment made by the residents of the reporting economy to external economies.

instruction 4 analysis

Choose one country for each type of research: a) One country that invests in Mexico and b) One country to which Mexico exports its products c) Justify the reason of your selection of those countries. d) Mention the type of industry with a major influence in statistical contributions. They must be two different countries.

instruction 5 hofstede dimensions

According to your previous analysis, research and describe the levels of the six dimensions by Hosftede for each of the selected countries. This means, the one you chose for the foreign direct investment and the one you chose for the exports from Mexico to the world.

a) Make a comparison between the levels of each country in the six dimensions and the levels of Mexico. b) Highlight those with more differences and similarities between them. (At least three of the dimensions)
