The Faculty Multimedia Center offers multimedia recording studios that can be reserved by faculty to pre-record lectures, presentations, and other demonstrations for their students using OBS. All recordings on-site will be auto-captioned for faculty and appropriate settings will be prepared prior to faculty arrival.

Principles of Clip Champ
Clip Champ is a simple, web-based video editing platform that the FMC strongly recommends for efficient content creation. The platform is free with an email, but the free version does come with a 30-minute time limit for generating auto-captions. However, the easy-to-use interface makes this an ideal platform in comparison to Camtasia.

Panopto
This is one the FMC's most recommended lecture capture platforms for sharing content in IDL modalities. The platform will generate auto-captions for verbal, displayed, and textual for content that is both recorded within the platform and uploaded to the platform. There is also a built-in editor to make revisions within the platform.

Zoom
Although Zoom is not a recommended platform for captioning, you will be able to generate auto-captions during your live meetings. Captions will only be downloadable and accessible after the meeting if the meeting is recorded. There is no built-in editor for platform, meaning you will need to download the transcription file to make revisions.

Principles of Adobe Premiere Pro
Premiere is a dynamic video editing platform that is free for all UCF faculty and staff. The interface may appear intimidating, but it offers more advanced tools and features to create engaging content. Captions can be auto-generated with no limitations on the duration of content and can be generated in various languages.

Microsoft's Clip Champ
This is a free, web-based video editing platform with a simple interface. You will be able to caption up to 30-minutes of content per new project in the free version. A paid subscription is available.

Adobe Premiere Pro
A more dynamic video editing platform that is free for all UCF faculty and staff with their SSO. Unlike Clip Champ, Premiere is an installed desktop app. However, you will not have any limitations on the duration of content that can be captionined in a single project. single project.
