Florida is a state in the Southeastern region of the United States. Everglades National Park is a tropical park with swamps where crocodiles, alligators and indigo snakes live together.

Montana is a state in the Western part of USA. Yellowstone National Park covers parts of three states: Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

Texas is a state in the South Central region of the United States. Whopping cranes, the tallest north American bird, spend winter in Texas.

Mississippi is a state in the Southeastern region of the United States. The Pallid sturgeon lives in the Mississippi rivers. This fish doesn't live in lakes.

California is along the Pacific Ocean. The red fox, the yellow-legged frog and the desert tortoise live in this state. Sequioa National Park and Yosemite are in California.
