¿De que depende?

La magnitud de la fuerza centrífuga depende de la masa del objeto, su velocidad tangencial y el radio de la trayectoria circular en la que se encuentra. Cuanto mayor sea la velocidad tangencial y menor sea el radio, mayor será la fuerza centrífuga experimentada por el objeto.

Cuando un objeto se mueve en una trayectoria circular o curva, experimenta una aceleración dirigida hacia el centro de esa trayectoria, llamada "aceleración centrípeta"

es una fuerza ficticia o aparente que parece actuar en dirección opuesta a la fuerza centrípeta en un sistema de referencia no inercial.

CARACTERÍSTICAS

  • La fuerza centrífuga actúa en dirección opuesta a la aceleración centrípeta.
  • La fuerza centrífuga no es una fuerza real en el sentido de una interacción física fundamental, como la gravedad o la fuerza electromagnética.
  • La magnitud de la fuerza centrífuga depende de la velocidad tangencial del objeto y del radio de la trayectoria circular en la que se encuentra.
