How it works?

• While the normal traffic lights use timer programs that don't change when traffic conditions become difficult, the smart traffic lights use high-resolution cameras and radar sensors to capture the real traffic situation. This allows them to determine the exact number of vehicles waiting and detect the average speed of the cars.

• After this, all the data that is recollected are saved in the cloud and used learning algorithms to calculate the optimal periods of operation at the traffic lights, speeding up the passage of vehicles.
