You think you may know everything there is to know, but at this point you can be more sure of it by looking at a checklist or practice guide. Now is also a good time to check back on encylopedias.

By this point you might know more specifics. Use a treatise or practice guide to get a lot of detail on a complex subtopic.It may also be helpful to see what secondary sources cite to the statutes you are working with.

Use dictionaries to look up words you don't know Use encyclopedias or jurisprudence to get a broad view of the legal area and get started.
