The protagonist of this book is Buck who is a dog who is kidnapped and sold to pull sleds.the second most important character is Thornton who is the person who bought Buck to pull the sled, he is very kind to dogs in fact Buck is his friend
my favorite scene in the book is when Buck defeats Spitz. because I liked that the dog did not do it only for himself and to show that he was stronger than the others but he also did it for the good of his companions
