Customs and Culture

Spanish culture is very different than American culture in alot of ways.

Spanish culture consists of many different kinds of festivals, most of Spain is Catholic, they also take a "Siesta" everyday (StudyInSpain, 2021).

Verbal and Body Language

Handshakes, friendly embraces, and kisses on both cheeks are typical Spanish greetings, they are very affectionate while Americans are more reserved with public greetings (Eton Institute, 2023).

Business Protocols in Spain

Business meetings and interactions in Spain are very formal in both dress, attire, and conversations. Interpersonal relatioships are key in Spain and in America. Eating meals together helps forrge relationships in both Spainsh and American culture. Overall, in Spain business interactions are built on trust and strong relationships with other people (Eton Institute, 2023)

Fu'tbol is a very popular sport in Spain, it is a big part of their culture

Food

Spanish food consists of lots of rice, beans, seafood, wine, and mostly homemade dishes vs America that eats alot of manufactured food (Britannica, 2023).

Just becuase Spain and America have different cultures and customs, doesn't make one better than the other. They just have different ways of living and interacting with each other. What is normal in Spain might seem strange in America and vice versa.
