Tim Burton studied animation at the California Institute of Arts (CalArts). There he had the opportunity to hone his animation skills and develop his interest in visual storytelling.

Burton is currently working on the sequel to Beetlejuice, that 80s film that became a cult classic and taught us the aesthetics of the Burton world in all its splendor

Personally, this activity was interesting to do because it could allow me to know more about Tim Burton, it was interesting to know about his career as a director and about all the films I think, it was interesting to know how he was inspired for each of them.

Throughout his career as a director and producer, Tim Burton has won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Animated Program, Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Future Film Festival Digital Award, and National Board of Review Award for Best Director.

Some of Tim Burton's highest-grossing films were: Alice in Wonderland, which generated $1.025 billion dollars worldwide Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, $475 million.Batman (1989) generated $411 million, Planet of the Apes, $362 million. Tim Burton was born on August 25, 1958 in Burbank, California. Is an American-born director, screenwriter and producer. Tim Burton is characterized in his filmography by his great vision at the service of these 2 genres, which in his stories never lack that acid humor and his marginalized or ununderstood characters.

Tim Burton attended several important events, some of them were the Cannes International Film Festival, the Venice International Film Festival, BAFTA, was invited to six Golden Globes, of which he only won one, and was also invited to two Oscars, of which he was only a candidate.

Between the years 1982-1984 he made 2 short films: Vincent dedicated to Vincent Price and frankenweenie which had so many successes that it won awards at different festivals.
