for example: Water doesn't freeze at temperatures above zero
we use action verbs in the present simple for true facts:
we can use them for permanent situations:
For example: Alex lives in New York
and also to describe events in a film, a book, play, story or game (narrative)
For example: The hero jumps into th lake and tries to reach the boat!
For example: I usually walk to work everyday
and finally in regular actions, like habits and routines (actions that you repeat)

What is a stative verb?
A verb is considered to be a stative verb if it is expressing a state or condition rather than an action State verbs include verbs of feeling, wanting, thinking, believing, and possessing, and also senses like: see, hear, smell, and taste They are used in the present simple
