The Fighting Rooster
A rooster, boasting of being a fierce fighter, was arguing with a Chicken. Spirits were inflamed to the point of creating a great uproar; the Chicken, with great tricks, gave the Rooster a good shake, being recognized in the neighborhood as the owner of the corral. When the Chicken was not listening, the Rooster said: – This one with time will not be a bad rooster, but the poor thing is still very small. However, he never came close to the Chicken again.

But on another occasion, the quarrelsome Rooster had an altercation with an elderly Rooster, and from this brawl barely had some feathers left. However, as he retreated battered from the battlefield, he said: – If he wasn't a poor old man… Out of pity and respect for his age, I let him win.
