Option 1: Students can pick 3 of the issues that was discussed at the either of the conventions (1832, 1833) and come up with a solution for that issue, and explanations why that solution will work.
Option 2: Students can choose to create their own constitution similarly to how the committee created one to present to the Mexican Congress. They will have to include 3 guaranteed rights and how power will be divided amongst the Gov.

Austin was a chairman.The Conventions responded to policies made by the Mexican Gov. that caused discontentment. The 1833 Convention ended with a creation of a constitution to present to the Mexican Gov. They addressed and adopted several resolutions requesting: - Extension of tariff exemptions to Texas (3y) - Modifications to the anti-immigration law of 1830 - Appointing a commissioner to issue land titles in East Texas - Donations of gov. lands to maintain Spanish/English education - Ayuntamiento of Nachagdoches to prevent White enroachment of lads guaranteed to Indians in East Texas. - Become a separate state of Mexico
