C9: Designs a laboratory practice to compare the structure and function of plant and animal cells. C10: Conducts a laboratory to compare the structure and function of plant and animal cells using microscopic observation and criteria for living organisms.
- Animal cells and plant cells can be differentiated through their observations using the microscope.

According to teacher's instructions explore the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEnyHL9yBsI Write down all the steps that you are going to do through the lab practice.
Make the drawings requested/suggested by the teacher, write descriptions of them identifying structures that you will observe.
DO not forget include the cell wall.

1. How were your cheek cells similar to the onion/celery cell? How were they different?2. What structures were present in the onion cell that were not present in the cheek cell? 3. Name three organelles that you did see in today’s lab and then write each organelle’s function. i. _________________________________:ii. ________________________________:iii. _______________________________:
4. What type of cell is the onion cell? How can you recognize it?5.What type of cell is the cheek cell? How can you recognize it? 6.Why are the dyes important in this lab? 7.Where the cells you observed prokaryotic or eukaryotic? How can you tell? 8. Why the cellular organization is important in the life of living beings?
