The months of the year
The months of the year.
There are four seasons in a year. There are three months for each seasons.
What classes do I like ?
I like...
I don't like...
En anglais, je vais utiliser "I like" pour parler de quelque chose que j'aime : ex : I like mathematics. I like my friends. J'utilise "I don't like" pour parler de quelque chose que je n'aime pas ex : I don't like French. I don't like chocolate.
How much do I like my classes ?
Recap. In England, they have subjects like in France : mathematics, history, science, English, Physical Education (PE...) ; they have new subjects : Home Ec to learn how to cook and Technical to learn how to build.
exercise : complete the sentences !
1. ______________________ is where my teacher teaches me maths or English 2. the lab is opposite the ____________________________. 3. At noon, I go eat at ______________________ . 4. the _____________________ is between the girls' toilets and the boys' toilets. 5. the _______________________ is opposite the music room.
exercise : when is....?
Il est 11h pile : it is eleven o'clock. Pour dire que l'on est à la moitié de l'heure, on rajoute "half past" auquel j'ajoute l'heure : Il est 9h et demi : it is half past nine. /!\, midi se dit "noon".
Pour parler du quart d'heure, j'utilise la formule"a quarter past" + l'heure 8:15 : a quarter past eight Pour parler de "moins le quart" j'utilise la formule "a quarter to" + l'heure d'après 10h45 : a quarter to eleven
exercises
tâche intermédiaire : create your own timetable!
