Hi everyone and welcome to your English class! This year we're going to try and improve your English skills so that you can develop your potential and your linguistic abilities. The main ideas to succeed in learning a language are dedication and motivation. If you want to improve and be good at learning a language, use the language as much as you can in class. Speak, listen read and write and use the new notions and vocabulary whenever it's possible. Do not hesitate to ask questions may it be to your teacher or your friends. That's the key to success! Have fun and let's work !

Text 1 Last summer I went to New York I visited so many monuments and met wonderful people. The only thing that was annoying is when at the airport I had to answer this really long questionnaire about why I was coming to the USA and how long I was about to stay. Text 2 This summer I stayed in France because I wanted to protest against long-distance trips and their impact over the planet. I really spent a good summer here so I guess that I'll keep visiting places not really far from my place. Text 3 Finally, summer is over... I know what you think, what is he saying? Well, July was horrible for starters, raining every day and not even a single opportunity to get to the each and enjoy the sea. August was a bit better but let's face it it was not the best summer ever... am I right guys?
