- Ms. V. starts by greeting the class: "Good morning class" / "Good afternoon class" - I'll ask 1 classmate how they feel. Feel free to ask other classmates and myself how they feel.

English class ritual

- I pronounce your names in the English way. Ex: Pierre => Peter, Alexandre => Alexander... - It's an English class. So no French! (and believe me when I say that I won't speak French).

We will do a different ritual given the unit. I'll tell you more about the ritual at the beginning of the new unit. You might be graded.

WHAT ARE THE RULES THAT I NEED TO RESPECT?

eNTERING THE CLASSROOM

- I take my school materials out and put my name in front of me. - I am not late - If I'm absent during a test, I bring a justifiation otherwise, you get a 0/20.

WITHIN THE CLASSROOM

- I always raise my hand to speak - I participate actively to the class to learn a lot of things - I respect Ms. V. and my classmates - I never laugh at or mock my classmates - My phone must be of except if I ask you to take it out for a Kahoot/Wooclap etc.

PERSONAL MINDSET

- I always BELIEVE in myself - I participate even if I am not sure of the answer! Wrong answers help me and my classmates progress! => If you don't participate, you won't make progress. And my patience is limited.

PERSONAL MINDSET

- I never underestimate myself! - I do my best to perform in English class - Remember that if you make a mistake, there are 100% chances that another classmate made the same mistake.

END OF THE CLASS - LEAVING THE CLASSROOM

- I make sure that I wrote my homework in my diary - I wait for Ms. V to allow me to put my material away and leave the class I DON'T STAND UP OR TALK WHEN THE BELL RINGS! I am the boss in here, you're not.

- Punished by law (Code Pénal) and can lead to a heavy fine and prison - No harassment will be tolerated in my class and beyond - No mockeries nor laughter - I will be extremely severe on that matter and if I suspect anything parents and school will be warned - I am here if you need to be listened to or helped in any way
