Deciding What's "Right"

Wow #1
"And in the end, what justice means to you personally, pretty much defines how you think society should work."
This statement was intriguing as it made me realize how many people have diverse views on what justice means and how conflicting it is to actually know whats right. To me, it has always been about being fair. Whoever works the hardest earns the most, but someone's understanding of justice is crucial in the shaping of an ideal society. This also makes me think about how sometimes it can be frustrating for someone to see things differently, but I have learned our beliefs significantly impact how we see the rest of the world.

"Negative Right"
I did not know that natural rights were also called negative rights. I know they are a subset of natural rights but they don't agree with governement interfierence. I am conflicted about what I think is right, as the government should refrain from interfering with everything. Still, it is essential for the government to interveen in areas that benefit the collective well-being, such as public health and environmental protection. We will still be free to choose what we want, but we can achieve the common societal goal with a little sense of direction.

Reflection on the game
In this game, it was challenging to know which choice was right as, in the end, I killed 51 people, which was shocking as I thought I was saving more than that. When making those decisions, I always thought about saving more quantity, and when It was between my life and others, I chose to save others. The right thing was to keep more people than what was being harmed. I didn't think about it depending on the situation; I chose based on the problem presented at the moment. I think the most challenging part was choosing family and best friends over five strangers, as those are people you know and genuinely care about.
