What are Rare Earths used for?

These elements are used in magnets, engines, medical imaging, phones, batteries, and other electronics.

Who controls these Elements?

China control 90% of rare earth production This is not ideal because they can withhold these elements, or sell at a high price This could be the reason why electronics and medical bills are expensive

How does this topic relate to the chapters?
