Híbrida (blended learning).

Student learning occurs both in scheduled in-person class meetings during specific published times and locations, and in synchronous online class meetings during specific published times. Generally, synchronous hybrid classes will meet for fewer in-person hours than standard face-to-face classes, but will require online class meetings.

Virtual education.

Defines virtual education as the educational modality that raises the quality of teaching-learning, and this because it respects its flexibility or availability, i.e. it can be channelled for variable times and spaces.

Face-to-face.

All instruction occurs at a designated location on campus (classroom) during regularly scheduled, predetermined (synchronous) days and times when the instructor and students are physically present at all times.

Distance Education.

Distance learning is a form of education that takes place remotely, i.e. there is no physical academic environment in which students and teachers meet, but rather schools provide education through a channel that is usually virtual, such as the internet.

Online Education.

E-learning is characterised by the use of audio-visual resources for learning, as well as communication platforms to deliver classes remotely; however, this is not all, as the effectiveness of the system can be measured through evaluation and feedback.
