Why they should come
Many learners give up on live lessons before they even begin high school.
After the first few weeks of the year, attendance in live lessons tends to drop. Here are a few things that you can do to encourage your learners to jump back into live lessons.
- Include relavent data about students that attend live lessons.
- This can be based on your prior experience (ex. 80% of learners who regularly attended live lessons maintained a B or above average)
- Send weekly highlight summaries (written or video)
- Include linkes to resources used in class (especially those that students posted in)
- Respond individually when async students contribute to resources such as padlets and nearpods
